Get into out.
Outlander is for the fearless. Getting into dynamic design, powerful handling and unexpected luxury means blending form with function in brave new ways. It is artistic and stylish, yet powerful and fun to drive. The kind of ride you're proud to show off-and the one that has your back no matter where you need to go.

Conventional design is out.
DYNAMIC REDESIGN
This isn't just a "redesign." This is a revolution. The impressive presence of the 2022 Outlander's exterior has been completely reimagined to exude confidence with a wider, muscular stance. The sculpted sides, hexagon motif at the rear and bold, distinctive front face make for a stunning and powerful new identity.
Relax and enjoy the ride.
MI-PILOT Assistâ„¢ is a unique feature that works with Adaptive Cruise Control and other features like Lane Keeping Assist and Embedded Navigation to keep the driver centered in the lane of travel. With MI-PILOT Assistâ„¢, Outlander can automatically adjust steering angle, reduce speed along sharp curves, or even manage stop-and-go heavy traffic. This new technology can also reduce fatigue on long trips and work as an assist device, keeping you on track to arrive exactly where you set out to go.

Bring everyone along.
THIRD ROW SEATING
Outlander's interior was designed with Omotenashi, ''Japanese hospitality,'' in mind. The 2022 Outlander proves that real luxury is the result of a million small touches, like meticulous attention to even the smallest details like knobs and dials, the thoughtful design of the steering wheel, interior lighting, display controls and even the storage components.

Get into the great outdoors.
TOWING
With a standard towing capacity of 2,000lbs, Outlander makes it simple to take your life on-the-go.

Reach for the stars.
POWER PANORAMIC SUNROOF
Greater visibility doesn't just mean forward and backward; the 2022 Outlander's larger, panoramic sunroof with narrow drip rails provides a wider view of the sky and a more spacious feeling overall.
SAFETY
Get into comfort. Get into confidence.
Three of Outlander's many advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are brand new for 2022. These latest additions pack extra confidence and peace of mind into every drive.

Active Blind Spot Assist (ABSA)
By applying the brakes after an initial warning, Active Blind Spot Assist supports the avoidance of collision by detecting other vehicles in the surrounding lanes, even when the human eye can't see them.

Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) with Pedestrian Detection
If Outlander detects a car or pedestrian in front of the vehicle through the front radar and camera, a warning appears. If brakes are still not applied and the risk of collision is imminent, Forward Collision Mitigation applies the brakes.

Rear Automatic Emergency Braking (Rear AEB)
Sonar sensors near Outlander's rear bumper can detect objects behind the vehicle. If something is too close, Rear Automatic Emergency Braking issues an audible warning and attempts to stop the vehicle, reducing the chance of an accident.

Blind Spot Warning (BSW)
When a vehicle is approaching your blind spot, a warning light in the corresponding side mirror illuminates. If your turn signal is also on, the warning light blinks and the system beeps three times, signifying it is unsafe to change lanes.
