      Fantastic little truck for 600$, gets super great gas mileage(2.4 litre 4cyl.),and always starts easily in cold weather. had a hard time replacing the stock speedometer cable 'cause my 1992 has the rare automatic transmission w/overdrive. so i had to use a universal "cut to fit" from parts store. works great if you know the exact length of the old cable. interior is a little cramped and wished it was 4 wheel drive. also wish it had older type instrument panel w/Tachometer and actual guages instead of dummy lights. mine is also a shortbed which makes it super compact and easy cheesy to park.…

      Being a history buff I liked this truck from the start. Just the name Mitsubishi intrigued me like one of their greatest achievements in the world of aviation - the A6M Zero fighter of World War Two. I thought of this truck just like I did the plane; lightly constructed and extremely reliable. When I bought this truck used it had been repossessed, and had 22000 miles on it. I was told by a Toyota mechanic that I would hate him if he told me all the problems I was going to have with it. Well that was in 1995, and I have not had a serious problem yet. Knock on wood! Sure I have had to change some parts out, but nothing that would not have been changed on any other vehicle with the same mileage and use. My Mighty max has now been relegated as a stand by vehicle, but in the beginning it was my main mode of transportation. In college I used it to make food deliveries; where I easily put 1000 miles on it in a month. I cannot say anything bad about this "little truck" mechanically; the reliability has been out of this world.…
